Art Walk Easthampton

This upcoming Saturday, October 13th from noon-8 pm I'll be exhibiting a whole lot of work at the Art Walk Easthampton, in the Eastworks Building. There's going to be like 38 other artists participating-- so it should be lots of fun for the whole family!

I have several new pieces and a lot of stuff you probably haven't seen before.

Visit the Art Walk Easthampton website for more info: http://www.artwalkeasthampton.org/.

Really I have been working on stuff...

By the end of the week I will be posting a whole bunch of new stuff-- things have just been sorta held up to do my day job...things are slowly but surely slowing down at the office-- so who knows what will come out of all this free time when it gets here!

Finally Some Action...

I posted a few more prints tonight...(click the image above for link!)

I'm constantly sewing...I promise I'll put a few more finished sewing projects up here soon.

I finally got my sketchb0ok in the mail! I've started work on it...and I'm pretty sure it's not going to fit back in that little envelop once I'm done with it!

Prints on Flickr...

I've started scanning all my prints in hopes of getting them all up on the internet soon-- and maybe even posting some of the Artists Proofs on my Etsy. There's a whole lot of them so it might take me a few days.

This is a Non-Toxic Four Color Print straight from the barnyard...(it's also a link to my Flickr page).

Owls...

I'm trying to post all the stuff I'm working on currently. These guys are just about done-- and no thanks to a certain Rabbit-- the yellow one has teeth marks on his right ear...grrrr....

Full Steam Ahead...

I'm off to NYC for the weekend..but it's probably a good thing-- I've done all the sewing I can for a few days. I get this horrible blister on my index finger from pushing the needle too hard or something?

Have I mentioned that these are all hand-sewn?

In other news...

Tiny Media Empire is putting together a little series of fundraiser prints. Everyone in the Tiny Media Family (Justin Myer-Staller, Linda Price, Dan Danger, and myself) will each create a print to benefit the studio! More details to come!

Heart-of-Hearts

As promised photos of some new work in progress...please be patient with me as I am new to this whole blogging business and so I'm still trying to figure out the best way to lay these out on the page!

My hope is to make multiples and display them all (completed that is-- ie sewn) on a single wall.

Let the Seasons begin...

I've been pretty busy in the studio the few times I've been able to make it up...(work has been so hectic with all this overtime!)

Over the weekend I hope to get some pictures of my newest works in progress. I've found a few distractions from my growing herd of elephants and owls-- which include a few rabbits, chicken embryos and birds in flight, in pillow form and paintings on wood!

I've also started on a series of stuffed human hearts...I'd like to make 25 of them but we'll see how far I get...It sure would be nice to have the time to do a whole series of human body parts...

I've also got more than 16 elephants in the works...quite nearly ready to be sewn!
